★ 2015 Peter Pan Prize from IBBY Sweden, New York Times Best Seller(US edition)
Guji-Guji was born a crocodile but raised by a family of ducks. One day he meets a few crocodiles who tell him he is not a duck but is like them. They try to talk him in to helping them trap and eat his duck family. This presents Guji-Guji with a dilemma, until he realizes he is not a duck or a crocodile but a “crocoduck.” He then tricks the crocodiles and saves his family.
