About the Illustrator
Jun Nan was born in Changzhi rural township of Pingtung County, where there are no high-rises or metro, but there are rows of low slant-roofed buildings with regular families living in them. In sixth grade, inspired by the pages after pages of beautiful illustrations in picture books, Nan felt he found his calling. Perhaps it was with God's help or it was destiny that soon after graduating college, he became a regular illustrator for a newspaper column and started fulfilling his illustration dreams. Nan likes to wake up to a hot cup of coffee and waking up his soul, before picking up his brush to start painting in his small single room. He adheres to hand painting, having the waterfolor dance on paper, and insists on only painting one original drawing.
